About

This is my personal website. I started it in my last year on Leduc City Council, as I was starting to consider the implications of being present on the various social media websites that I was on. My thinking was, What if I exercised more personal control over my online presence? That larger project, and this specific smaller one, are both works in progress.

The “About” page on a personal blog will often have details as to what a person’s whole deal is. The broad strokes are that I come from PEI, I live in Alberta now. I used to be a municipal politician. In my day job I am a lawyer. I have dork-ass hobbies. I am married and have grown-ass children. In addition to all this, I’ve done this and that and my hope is to do more of the same in the future.
